BRITTANY MIRE, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC

Brittany is a highly accomplished and dually board-certified healthcare professional, holding certifications as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). Her extensive training and experience encompass the comprehensive care of patients with psychiatric and medical disorders across the lifespan, spanning acute and chronic conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings.


Brittany's educational journey began at Nicholls State University, where she earned both her Bachelor’s and Master of Science in Nursing degrees. Her commitment to advancing her skills and knowledge in psychiatric mental health led her to obtain a Post Graduate Psychiatric Mental Health Certification from Frontier Nursing University.


Throughout her career, Brittany has showcased her versatility by working as a primary care provider with a particular emphasis on mental health and substance use disorders. Her initial focus on holistic wellness in primary care laid a solid foundation for her subsequent specialization in psychiatry and addiction medicine. Brittany's career trajectory reflects her dedication to addressing the multifaceted needs of her patients, recognizing the intricate interplay between physical and mental health.


Brittany's passion lies in delivering holistic wellness through evidence-based integrative care. She firmly believes that healthcare should be individualized, patient-centered, and personalized to meet the unique needs of each client. Actively involving the patient in the treatment plan, Brittany fosters a collaborative approach that empowers individuals on their journey toward improved mental and physical well-being.


As a dual-board certified practitioner, Brittany is well-equipped to provide comprehensive care that bridges the gap between psychiatric and medical domains. Her commitment to evidence-based practices, coupled with her empathetic and patient-focused approach, sets her apart as a healthcare professional dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of those she serves.

SHANNAN GROS, PLPC

Shannan Gros brings over 26 years of law enforcement experience, including 18 years at the Children’s Advocacy Center of Lafourche, where he has focused on child abuse cases. During this time, he has conducted more than 3,500 forensic interviews with children disclosing abuse.


As a Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) facilitator, Shannan coordinates essential services for victims, ensuring they receive the necessary support. In 2023, he expanded his dedication to helping others by earning a master’s degree in clinical mental health from Nicholls State University.


Now a provisionally licensed professional counselor, Shannan is working toward full licensure. While specializing in child advocacy, he also compassionately and caringly supports clients of all ages and backgrounds.


Shannan’s combination of extensive experience and education offers a unique perspective, making him a trusted resource for counseling and advocacy.
